India's capital is under a weather alert for the first time in more than a decade, the Times of India reports. According to the Hindustan Times, the India Meteorological Department issued an orange alert for Delhi and its surrounding areas Monday, warning of thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds. Yellow alerts were issued for areas including Sirsa, Kurukshetra, Panipat, Sonipat, Gurugram, and Faridabad. Parts of Delhi received light rain on Monday.
