The policy, which will be sent to the Lieutenant Governor for approval, is planned to be implemented from July 1, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said. Under the policy, buyers of electric Delhi government approved a new EV policy offering 100% exemption on road tax and registration fees for electric cars priced at ₹30 lakh or less. The policy includes subsidies for e-two-wheelers, electric autorickshaws, and three-wheelers, alongside incentives for electric trucks and scrapping old vehicles. Investment of ₹15,000 crore is planned to promote electric mobility and reduce pollution by March 31, 2030.
