IRCTC Beta Website Live with User Feedback Focus
IRCTC launched a beta version of its revamped website on July 15, 2026, allowing users to test new features and provide feedback before the full rollout. The changes focus on a cleaner interface, reduced distractions like CAPTCHAs and pop-ups, and simplified booking steps. Features include visible seat availability across all classes, saved passenger details for repeat bookings, and faster processing speeds. While the beta is live, officials indicated that full functionality will be phased in alongside the upgrade of the Passenger Reservation Engine.
