The 39th edition of the Surajkund International Crafts Mela kicks off today. Running until February 15, the fair is expected to draw large crowds from across India and overseas. Egypt has been chosen as the partner nation, adding an international cultural touch to the event. Heavy and commercial vehicles are banned from January 31 to February 15 between 7 AM and 11:59 PM. Authorities have set up 10 designated parking areas for visitors. For 2026, the theme states are Uttar Pradesh and Meghalaya, which means visitors can experience their crafts, food, and cultural performances at the fair.
