Mahatma Gandhi Khadi Swaraj Scheme to be launched for handicrafts; 200 industrial corridors to be revived. The initiative focuses on strengthening khadi, handlooms and handicrafts by boosting production capacity and building world market linkages. After receiving significant relief in 2025 middle-class and salaried taxpayers are hoping for more income tax cuts in Budget 2026. After the presentation of the Budget 2026 in the Lower House, a copy of the Budget will be tabled in the Upper House. The Budget 2026 will be presented in Parliament on February 14, 2026.
