The relationship between Epstein and Ambani apparently began in February 2017, when Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, chairman of Dubai Ports World, shared the Indian businessman's contact details. Ambani asked Epstein for "any visibility on dates of our pm visit to dc?" He also asked about "track 2" contacts, a term for unofficial diplomatic channels.
