This follows allegations of misappropriation concerning approximately Rs 3,500 crore in cash donations. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing donation irregularities at the Ramjanmabhoomi Temple recommended restructuring the temple's administration, including appointing a CEO similar to the Kashi Vishwanath model. The preliminary report suggested improving financial transparency and accountability. The SIT examined donation procedures and financial records related to allegations of misappropriation. Lucknow: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the alleged misappropriation of donations to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya has submitted its preliminary report to the Additional Chief Sectary (Home), Sanjay Prasad, recommending structural reforms within the temple trust and legal action against those found responsible.
